This little book has a wealth of information for those of us who have not done any embroidery since they were 10 years old and can't remember how to do the stitches. I love doing fabric art with machine stitches and hand stitches and having this guide with pictures makes it so much fun.

DMC Made The Best Beginner Embroidery Guide Book!
I’m new to embroidery and needed a book on basic information and instructions on preparation and techniques. This book has it all and I love the way it is put together. The pages are a light cardboard weight on a spiral hinder so the pages will lay flat. I’m extremely happy with my purchase and excited to start my embroidery journey!

Basic Just Ok Book
A very basic embroidery book showing how to do basic stitches. Not a book with pretty pictures to actually inspire a beginner though. With all the amazing colors of DMC floss out there seems like they could put together something a bit more fun to look at.
