Rated 5 out of 5 by from Red is DMC #321 The red is DMC #321. I got it several years ago, but assume that's the only red Joann carries in this one-pound cone (seems to be out of stock at the moment). The DMC number is right on one of the labels inside the cone, I don't understand why Joann doesn't know what it is! I've never seen any other colors than these three in the huge cone. My first cones of white and black from probably 20 years ago actually got so low that I reordered a while ago when there was a sale. The giant cone of red is barely touched, unfortunately! It's a nice, true red, I just don't use a lot of red.

For those who care, here are the actual specs of the product as listed on the inside of the cone. The listing here on Joann.com is not quite accurate. Would be great if they had the correct yardage and the color # listed. If anyone knows what color the red is I would LOVE to know. Joann's customer service could not provide this info for me. They recommended I go to a store or call the store to have them look at the product... it's only sold online. DMC Color 310 - Black 100% Cotton Made in France 500g / approximately 2100m or 2296 yards

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product This is a large amount of 310 and it arrived very quickly, in good shape and works perfectly. A much better way to store large amounts instead of skeins. It is also a lot more than 8.7 yards.

I kept buying single skeins here and there but when I saw how often I was purchasing good ol' 310, I committed to this gigantic monster. It's so satisfying to cut off hanks of this floss and see that it hasn't even made a dent. My life's goal is to use every bit of this cone.
