Dog Bed Floor Pillow

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

Floor Bed

• 1-1/2 yd - 54" home décor fabric
• 5 lb. fiberfill
• Basic sewing supplies

Pillows

• 1 1/3 yd. - Home dec fabric for 20" x 40" pillow
• 2/3 yd - Home dec fabric for 20" pillow
• 1 - 20" pillow form
• 5 lb. bag - polyester Fiber Fill for large pillow
• Basic sewing supplies

DIRECTIONS:

Floor Bed (1/2" seam allowance)
1. Cut 2 - 45" x 30".
2. With RST sew around 4 sides leaving an opening for turning.
3. To make box corners, fold each corner seam to opposite seam forming a triangle.
4. Measure from point 3" and mark.
5. Sew across this mark. Trim point.
6. Sew all four sides.
7. Turn dog bed right side out and stuff with fiberfill.
8. Slip stitch opening closed.

Pillows
1. Cut 2 - 21" x 41" for large rectangle pillow
2. With RST, stitch all four sides leaving an opening for turning.
3. Turn, and stuff as solid as desired.
4. Sew opening closed.
5. Cut 1 - 21" x 21" square for 20" pillow.
6. Cut 2 - 21" x 15" for back of pillow.
7. Hem one long side of each of the back pieces.
8. With RST overlap the back pieces on top of the front.
9. Sew all four sides
10. Turn, press.
11. Insert pillow form.
