To find the downloadable patterns click on the "GET PATTERNS" tab above.- Cut 1 Template A on fold and 2 Template B on fold from flannel.
- For the collar, place the 2 Template B pieces together with wrong sides facing. Pin bias tape over the outer edge of collar, mitering the corner at the collar points. Top stitch in place.
- Match center of neck edge of the collar to the center of the neck opening on Template A and pin collar in place. Stitch collar in place. Press seam toward body. Finish seam with a zig zag stitch or serger. Top stitch in place 1/8" away from seam.
- Pin bias tape in place all the way around remaining raw edges of Template A piece, tucking the fabric between folded edges of bias tape. Top stitch in place. Press flat.
- Cut 2 pieces of Velcro for neck closure and 2 pieces for belly closure using Template A as length and placement guide. Sew Velcro in place.

Great Dog Coat!!
This is such a simple coat to make. Once cut out and pinned, it took me less than an hour to make!

I gave up on this pattern after simply printing off the first page. The lines need to come out HEAVY AND BOLD, not thin and petite.
