SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 1/4 yd 100% cotton fabric (per sack)
- 1/4 yd coordinating 100% cotton fabric (per sack)
- 1/4 yd cotton batting
- 1 pkg bias tape (per sack)
- 1/2 yd pompom trim (per sack)
- Basic sewing supplies
DIRECTIONS:
For small sleep sack:
- Cut one 9"x 6" rectangle cotton fabric and one of coordinating fabric.
- Cut one 5 1/2"x 5 1/2" square cotton fabric and one of coordinating fabric.
- Cue one 8 1/2"x 5 1/2" rectangle of batting.
- Cut one 5"x 5" square of batting.
- Using the 2 rectangle pieces, place batting between pieces, with right sides facing out and stitch around outer edge using 1/4" seam allowance.
- Repeat with the square pieces.
- Sew pompom trim to top of square piece 1/4" from edge.
- Cut a piece of bias tape to attach to top of square and sew close to edge, enclosing the sewn edge of the trim.
- Lay square on rectangle, matching lower edges and pin bias tape along all edges.
- Sew close to edge of bias tape to finish.
For medium sleep sack:
- Cut one 11"x 8"" rectangle cotton fabric and one of coordinating fabric.
- Cut one 7 1/2"x 7 1/2"" square cotton fabric and one of coordinating fabric.
- Cue one 10 1/2"x 7 1/2" rectangle of batting.
- Cut one 7"x 7" square of batting.
- Using the 2 rectangle pieces, place batting between pieces with right sides facing out and stitch around outer edge using 1/4" seam allowance.
- Repeat with the square pieces.
- Sew pompom trim to top of square piece 1/4" from edge.
- Cut a piece of bias tape to attach to top of square and sew close to edge, enclosing the sewn edge of the trim.
- Lay square on rectangle, matching lower edges and pin bias tape along all edges.
- Sew close to edge of bias tape to finish.
For large sleep sack:
- Cut one 13"x 9" rectangle cotton fabric and one of coordinating fabric.
- Cut one 9"x 9" square cotton fabric and one of coordinating fabric.
- Cut one 12 1/2"x 8 1/2" rectangle of batting.
- Cut one 8 1/2"x 8 1/2" square of batting.
- Using the 2 rectangle pieces, place batting between pieces with right sides facing out and stitch around outer edge using 1/4" seam allowance.
- Repeat with the square pieces.
- Sew pompom trim to top of square piece 1/4" from edge.
- Cut a piece of bias tape to attach to top of square and sew close to edge, enclosing the sewn edge of the trim.
- Lay square on rectangle matching lower edges and pin bias tape along all edges.
- Sew close to edge of bias tape to finish.
Small Pillow (Medium and large sizes in parenthesis)
- Cut 2 rectangles 5 1/2"x 4" (7"x 4", 8"x 4") cotton fabric.
- Sew all sides with right sides together leaving open a 2"- 3" opening to turn.
- Turn right side out and press.
- Cut 3 pieces of batting (or fold one piece into thirds) to insert into pillow and hand stitch the opening closed.

simple, easy and many useages
Different material designs and it can be for any time. Will do in holiday print for Christmas as gifts to her dolls and even stuffed animals. Will even fit her Elf on a Shelf if you make it a little longer, or use for the little elf.
