SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 1 Bulletin board
- White spray paint
- 1 Yard of decorative print fabric
- 1 Yard of plain fabric
- 1 Box of silver brads
- Adhesive spray
- Staple gun and staples
- Scissors
- Iron
DIRECTIONS:
- Spray paint the frame of the bulletin board with the white spray paint.
- Size the fabric to the bulletin board and fold back the edges.
- Flip back the fabric and spray it with the adhesive spray.
- Lay it back right side up and press it firmly.
- Around the edges of the frame, place the silver brads every 1 1/2" apart.
- Measure up 1/3rd of the bottom of the bulletin board. This is where you will start the plain fabric. Take the piece of plain fabric and fold it into three folds. Press with the iron.
- Make sure the fabric is wider than the bulletin board frame by 2 inches on each side.
- Pull the fabric tight and staple on each end on the backside of the bulletin board.
- Take the silver brads and secure the folded plain fabric in the middle, down the front to keep the pockets close to the bulletin board.
JOANN HACKS:
- Use the back of a spoon to push in the brads into the bulletin board.
