DIRECTIONS:
To find the downloadable patterns click on the "GET PATTERNS" tab above.- Base paint the pumpkin with gray paint. Repeat until the pumpkin is a solid gray color.
- While the paint is drying cut out the ears and nose from the cardstock, fold along the designated line and paint with the same gray paint as the pumpkin. Set aside to dry.
- Once the pumpkin is dry draw on the eyes, hairline, eyebrows and mouth lightly with a pencil using the photo as inspiration. Paint in with a detail brush using the designated colors. Use additional coats as needed.
- When all the paint is dry, hot glue the nose and ears to the pumpkin using hot glue to finish off the face.
JOANN HACKS:
- Use paper that is close to your paint color so less cotas of paint are needed to match the pumpkin color. Paint in light coats, do not over saturate or the paint will cause the paper to curl. Paint both side of the paper so the pumpkin is finished on all sides.
