Great for binding bag seams
I use this to bind seams in bags I make and it works beautifully! The one inch size covers a 3/8" seam allowance completely.

Great basic elastic
This elastic is useful for medium-duty projects. I don't think it'd hold up to heavy stretching for long periods of time, but it's great for things like legs on underwear, edges of bras, simple cuffs on kids clothes, etc.
The 7yds weren't one continuous piece though. There was one join in it, taped together. Not sure if it came from the company that way, or if the store did it.
