Rated 4 out of 5 by from So easy to use I was using regular safety pins and at times my fingers were sore due to the added pressure needed to pin the straight safety pins. The curve on these is perfect for easy use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not bad I bought three packages of these to baste a quilt before quilting. There were a few defective ones, where the pin part was not long enough to be closed. They are not the best quality - but they are definitely not the worst out there. I did not notice sharp or jagged edges on the pins like the lady in the first review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty good. I have a couple of these and didn't have any issues like the lady in the first review. Of course there will be a couple pins that aren't perfect or broken, but overall very few - maybe 3 or 4 out of 300. No complaints here.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money I bought these to secure the quilt layers together prior to quilting the quilt. I threw most of them away. At least half of them had hooks or rough patches at the point end that snagged the fabric as I pushed them through. I had to get several scrap pieces of fabric and batting to test them on before deciding if they could be used safely or not. I use quality fabrics and warm product batting. I almost ruined a pieced top with the first couple of pins before deciding to test.
