How To Get It
Quickly replace a broken size 5 metal molded zipper slider without replacing the entire zipper with the Dritz Fix-a-zipper Metal Replacement Slider Kit - Antique Brass. Remove the broken slider and attach this zipper slider that sports a gunmetal finish onto the zipper teeth. Size 5 zippers are often found on jackets, coats, sleeping bags, tents, purses, duffle bags and luggage. You just need to open up the slider with the help of the tool, insert the teeth of zipper into the opened slider and then close it over the teeth.

Size isn't correct
My zipper is a YYK which is 5mm. The slider is a hair bigger than the retainer box.
I followed the instructions.
When I press firmly (even using pliers) to close the jaws of the slider, when I put the pull tab back down, the slider opens up, again and does not zip up or, it stays partially closed starts to zip up, opens back up and the zipper starts to open up halfway up the zipper.
It's an ok concept. It just needs to be fixed by R&D.
I will be returning it.

Good product, no instructions
Bought to replace a backpack zipper. Didn't end up needing it, but it is solid product that I'll use in the future. Only complaint is there are no instructions included on how to use thet tool that came with with product.
