numbers don't start or end at either end
It's not as floppy as some of the measuring tapes, but not as good as the ones we could get 20 years ago or so. The biggest problem is the starting end of the tape starts the numbers 5/8" from the edge and slightly less than 1.5cm on the backside, which makes it a pain trying to get measurements for waists and whatnot on yourself when you tend to rely on the edge being where the numbers start. I bought this from one of the stores, and i'm not sure if it showed the start or end of the tape, but I didn't think I'd have to double check before purchasing anyways
