My daughter in law loved the pillows I made for her birthday! They matched the French cushion that I made for her last year. It was my first attempt to make these pillows with the covered buttons. It was so much fun!
I made two bolster pillows with tufted ends, topped off with matching covered buttons. They turned out really cute. It was a birthday gift to my daughter in law and I was so happy that she loved the pillows!

Cover Buttons (With Teeth)
Received my order quickly. I was using a medium weight outdoor fabric & these cover buttons with "teeth" worked really well vs the ones without, which did not work with this fabric.

Excellent Cover Buttons
The button portion, which is covered in your fabric, has teeth so that it grips the fabric, as well as the button shank, making sure the button doesn’t come apart after your cushion is all finished (like what happened to me by using cover buttons from Competitor with NO teeth!

Good for lightweight fabrics
These button covers are easy to use but only for lightweight fabrics. If you try a heavier weave or velvet the tops will pop off even with glue. Thin fabrics such as a light linen should be ok. I always add a dot of glue before closing

Not easy to use
The buttons were difficult to snap in the center to hold fabric in place. After several attempts the metal would bend and ding out of shape. Was not able to just snap fabric into place. To use as a covered button, I had to hand stitch the fabric over the top piece then attach fabric.
