You can use this marking pen designed with disappearing ink on projects to be completed within 24 hours. The blue side has water-soluble ink, while the purple side has air and water-soluble ink.

Simple, reliable marking
Water soluble or air erase, just flip the marker to use desired side. Only drawback is it's hard to see on dark fabric.

Great Pen
It actually works. I've used several different marking implements over the years, and this pen actually marks it clear enough to be able to see the lines - the ink then disappears (purple), or washes out (blue side). Very pleased.

Hard to see on dark fabrics
Dried out a bit when using on felt. Was a bit hard to see the colors on darker fabrics.
