Not the best
The actual point is large so it’s not possible to use this to rip tiny seams without damaging your fabric. I thought large just referred to the handle size.

Life saver for a beginner

Great for Beginners
I bought this before I did my first sewing project about four years ago. It has held up really nicely. Yes it is kinda large, but with it's sharp point it's fine. I love the protective cap, means I can stick in in my pocket without sticking myself! This seam ripper is actually comfortable to hold and doesn't slip like others I've used. Plus it holds up!
