Could be better
It's a nice ironing pad however, because of the quilted pattern when ironing the pattern shows up on the fabric. It would be nice if they had this pad without the quilting.

Dritz Magnetic Ironing Pad
I keep my Dritz Magnetic Ironing Pad right next to my sewing machine so I can press seams without getting up and walking to my ironing board every 5 minutes while quilting. Great timesaver and space saver.

Does the job
I haven't had any problems with the mat. Just note that steam passes through it. Accidentally used it on top of my cutting mat and warped that pretty badly. I put a cotton towel beneath the ironing mat now it to help keep moisture off my "wood" table. (And forever will remember to move my cutting mats.

Melts!
This item is not heat resistant at all! Parts of it melted into the surface I was using! I can't get ahold of Dritz to figure out what to do!
