The reviews are True….
I went inside the store and bought this yesterday. I was in a pinch and I needed a tagging gun immediately.. I thought that I would try and go against the odds and see if these would work for me. Unfortunately, they did not. Everything that everyone else said about this tagger is true. As long as there is nothing in the insert, it seems to work perfectly fine when you pull the trigger, but as soon as you have actual tags in the insert, and you pull the trigger instantly gets Jammed… Oh, waste of time and effort. Skip this one if I were not on a time crunch, I would’ve ordered some for a quarter of the price with two day shipping.

A piece of junk
Broke the moment I tried it the first time. A piece of junk not worth the 2 stars average review. I would give it a 0 if possible and Dritz lost a customer for a while.

Old brittle tags
I just bought this and the little tags won’t even penetrate 3 thin cotton pieces of material! What a waste! Gun was rusty. Now I have to return it, waste of gas and time! Don’t buy!

The WORST!! Fed up & on my 3rd gun!!!
My first one jammed so much I exchanged it for another. Second, surprise...just as bad as the first. Back to Joanne..again...sigh. Guess what happened..jam jam jam! I got exactly 1 tack in my fabric and have waited entirely too long, with no receipt, so I can't return. In case you are wondering, I used the tacks that came with the guns. I also bought the Dritz replacement needles. I googled...and googled in hope to find a miraculous cure for my incurable gun. Never again will I buy another from Dritz, I'd probably have better luck sticking the tacks in myself then trying this again. Dritz, I'm disappointed in you.

Poor quality
Light weight plastic, jammed up on the first use. Could not get it to work properly. Needle is large and leaves a big hole.

worked well for non-traditional use
Worked well for a 3D sewing costume project. A little jamming occurred but was easy to clear jam and continue going. One issue was that I couldn't buy additional tags at Joann.
