Dry Brushed Upcycle Mirror

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Mirror with textured frame
• Gold metallic paint
• Flat white paint
• Medium shortened
• Round brush
• Medium flat brush

DIRECTIONS:

1. Remove the mirror from the frame and clean as needed.
2. Paint the frame with white paint using the flat brush. May take 2 coats of paint to cover; allow paint to dry thoroughly between coats.
3. Use gold metallic paint and dry brush technique to highlight edges of textured design.
4. Dry Brush Technique: Trim off the end of the round brush to within 1/2" from the metal edge of the brush. With the shortened brush, pick up a small amount of gold paint and dab off any excess on a piece of paper. Lightly stipple the tips of the design to highlight.
5. Replace mirror.
