SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 1/4yd knit fabric
- 2 buttons
- Needle & thread
- Basic sewing supplies
DIRECTIONS:
- Cut a rectangle out of knit fabric, 5 1/2" wide X circumference of head minus 2" (about 18"-20" for adults).
- Fold fabric long ways with right sides together. Sew long edge together, leaving 2"-3" open at each end.
- Turn headband right side out. Match ends right sides together and sew.
- Tuck seam allowances in at opening, hand stitch close or edge stitch on machine.
- Stitch a button on each side about half way up the headband on each side.

Just what I’ve been looking for!
I wear glasses and hearing aids, so elastic is a bit uncomfortable and bulky. Plus, when I take my mask off it usually pulls my hearing aids out. This is a great solution.
