SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Easter-shaped cookie cutters
  • Wilton® Easter sprinkles
  • Wilton® food gel in pastel colors
  • Wilton® grass icing tip #233
  • Favorite Royal Icing
  • Favorite cupcake and cookie recipe
  • Easter candy molds
  • Wilton® Candy Melts® in pastel colors
  • Easter treat bags or boxes
  • Treat sticks

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Use Easter and spring-shaped cookie cutters to make sugar cookies then ice with pastel colors. Add sprinkles to make a fun and festive holiday cookie.
  2. After baked cupcakes are cooled, use a grass icing tip and green icing to make a grass effect on top of cookies. Add sprinkles.
  3. In a dry and clean candy mold, pour melted candy melts and let dry. Once candy melts have hardened, carefully remove from tray. With melted candy, attach candy pieces to treat sticks. Add candy to cupcakes.

JOANN HACKS:

  • Mix any color candy melts with white candy melts to create pastel shades. Do not add food coloring to candy.
  • To color details in the candy molds, use a piping bag with a small tip.
