SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 8" embroidery hoop
- 4-5 spools of non-wire ribbon, various sizes
- Double stick tape
DIRECTIONS:
- Cut 6 strips of ribbon (or as many desired) at about 6' long.
- Unscrew embroidery hoop so it is in two pieces.
- Line the inside bottom of the hoop with double stick tape. This will help hold the ribbon still while you are placing it into the hoop.
- Thread all ribbons through hoop halfway so the ribbon hangs folded in half.
- Push down on tape to hold in place.
- Once ribbons are placed in the order desired, close the embroidery hoop so it tightly holds the ribbons in place.
- Trim the bottom on the ribbon to make it even, or trim to vary the length of ribbon for style.
JOANN Hacks:
- Use a wood-burning tool to finish the ends of ribbon that fray as a safer option to flame.
