Makes Great Scarves for 1st Graders
This buffalo check fleece worked great for making fringed scarves for our three classes of 1st graders to wear as they performed on stage for the school’s Winter Concert! We made half of the scarves in the black and white check and the other half in the red and black check. They looked great! The fabric was easy to cut and tie. The kiddos loved wearing them and were so excited to take them home to keep.

I have been buying a lot of fleece from Joann's because of making blankets for the cancer patients at the local hospital. The person at the cancer center commented to me about the quality of the blankets. I buy the Anti Pill Plush and Blizzard fleece and the selection of designs and colors is fantastic. Because of the width, I can get two blankets (single bed size) turned sideways from two yards of fleece.
