Embellish Patriotic Wreath

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Brother P-touch Embellish
  • Brother P-touch Embellish Satin Ribbon 0.47"x 13.1'-Gold on Red
  • Brother P-touch Embellish Satin Ribbon 0.47"x 13.1'-Gold on White
  • Brother P-touch Embellish Satin Ribbon 0.47_x0003_x 13.1'-Gold on Navy Blue
  • 12" Wood wreath hoop painted blue
  • 4ft rope
  • 1 Sheet of gold glitter foam
  • Star template
  • Hot glue gun
  • Scissors

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Make sure your machine is reset by holding down shift and the backspace button. Choose Text&Format and press OK.
  2. Load the Brother P-touch Embellish with the Satin Ribbon - Gold on Navy Blue cartridge.
  3. Type in all caps (Caps button is above shift on left side) “STARS & STRIPES!" (! is found by holding shift & #1)
  5. Next press Font button and scroll to Style - OK - Scroll to Vertical - OK
  6. Next press Font button and scroll to Font- OK choose which one you like best (we used San Diego) - OK
  8. Next press Symbol button - scroll to Pictograph - OK - Scroll to Decorative - OK - the firework is #12/18 - OK- add to beginning and end (you can scroll with the arrows to place the symbol where you like).
  10. Print - Choose how many copies with arrows (we chose 2) and OK
  11. Repeat for Gold on Red Satin Ribbon
  12. Next, select Pattern - Scroll to Pattern - OK - and choose #19/25 stars - OK. Print multiple lengths - scrolling with the arrows (12in and then repeat for 15in) - OK - OK - Repeat with Navy, and White.
  14. Download the star template, trace and cut stars from gold glitter foam sheet.
  16. Next, glue and wrap the rope around the wreath hoop, leaving space in between.
  17. Glue the stars around the perimeter of the hoop.
  18. Arrange and glue each piece of ribbon to the backside of the bottom portion of the hoop.

CRAFT HACK TIPS & TRICKS:

  • Feel free to add symbols or frames where ever you find fit.
  • Use the arrows to scroll through all the different categories or within the categories.
  • All of the symbols and frame are shown in the included product guide.
  • Always make sure your machine is reset by holding down shift and the backspace button. Choose Text&Format and press ok.
  • Always make sure your Ribbon end is sticking out through the blade opening and not facing in the machine or it will get jammed.
