Perfect fabric overlay for my Bridgerton Gown!
When I first saw this fabric at Joann's, I immediately knew I needed to use it in a Bridgerton inspired gown. The gold embellishments are more of a 'soft' gold / champagne color which I loved. I paired this with the Casa Collection Snow White Crepe Back Satin to make my Bridgerton gown using Simplicity Pattern S9434. I'm so pleased with it and received such wonderful compliments at the Queen's Ball Bridgerton Experience Event in LA.
The mesh doesn't fray however any portion of the embellishments that are along the raw edge do fall off so some type of narrow hem on any garment is worth considering. I opted no to because I didn't want the edge of the transparent overlay to have a folded over look on my finished gown.
Very happy with this purchase. Would definitely recommend!

Makes beautiful appliqués
This fabric makes a wonderful appliqué lace for a dressing gown. I usually purchase bridal lace and dye it, but this golden fabric is very shiny and I couldn’t have dyed it myself.

Excellent material, the pattern is gorgeous and I loved working with it! I would recommend using this for larger works as the pattern is larger and you’ll want to use it over a larger space to get the full effect of the fabric. The mesh part was very easy to work with and very sturdy. The patterned part had several elements to it, but was still easy enough to cut through.

Don't be fooled by the photo
The base fabric is gold net, and the embroidery and beading are bright, shiny gold. It has a nice weight to it, and is quite spectacular in person.
