- 1 small pipe cleaner
- Paperclip

DIRECTIONS:
- Lay out the letters as you would like to see them on the bags. Attach them with fabric adhesive.
- Add desired trims to the the seams of the bag with the fabric glue.
- Paint the wooden bead the color of your choice and set it aside to dry.
- For the body: Use a piece of scrap cardboard and wrap the embroidery thread around it about 15 times. Gently slide it off the cardboard and use a 4" piece of embroidery thread and tie it at the top of one of the loops to create the center of the body. Snip the other end of the loops to make the bottom of the dress.
- Slide the top of the loop by the threads into the hole of the bottom of the head.
- Place a small amount of glue into the hole.
- Using the wire cutters, make a small loop out of the paperclip.
- Slide the wire loop into the top of the hole and make sure the ends of the loop are in the glue. Let it dry.
- Hair: Use a scrap piece of cardstock or cardboard about 2" long. Wrap the embroidery thread around the piece of cardboard about ten times. Gently slide it off the cardboard when still in the looped form. Use a 5" piece of complementary thread color and tie a small bow towards one end of the bunch. Cut another 5" piece and tie another bow at the other end of the loop. Using the craft glue attach this to the top of the wooden bead in the center of the looped thread. Snip the ends of the loop to finish off the ends of the pigtails.
- Arms: Cut a 5" piece of the pipe cleaner. Fold the ends inward onto the pipe cleaner about 1/4" on each end. Wrap the pipe cleaner with the embroidery thread including covering the hands. Secure your end of the embroidery thread with glue.
- In the middle of the pipe cleaner wrap the arms around the body twice.
- Use another piece of embroidery thread to tie a "waist" onto the doll.
- Use the 2 jump rings to attach the doll to the fanny pack.
JOANN HACKS:
- To make the project go faster, use a hot glue gun to attach the head to the body and the glue the thread on the hands quickly.
