DIRECTIONS:
- Measure your working area on your tote bag and set aside.
- Open your Design Space™ and start a new canvas.
- Insert the SVG and highlight entire image and make it approx. 10"x 10" for this project.
- Ungroup all images and only select and attach alike colors.
- Cut with the Cricut and follow the on-screen instructions, make sure to mirror the image.
- Heat up your press and follow heat guidelines. If it's a cotton/canvas tote and regular iron-on vinyl, the guidelines are 340 degrees for 30 seconds.
- Weed your cut material and once all colors are weeded you can place down on your canvas, one color at a time. Press until finished.
- Using your embroidery stitch of choice, embroider one block of the wavy checkers, the strawberry, the peace sign, clouds, mushroom, star and flowers, leaving all vinyl sections as is.
JOANN HACKS:
- Fold your canvas tote bag in half and iron, this will be the center mark of the bag when lining up your design.
- Place the design with the most same-colored icons down first so you can get a good idea of your working space and centering.
