Clover's Needle Punch Tool
I learned to punch needle using a clover needle. There are instructions included and online tutorials to teach you. Practice makes perfect. Also you need to purchase fabric that called Weavers Cloth which is sold at Joann's. I also have the punch needle that everyone says is the best but I always go back to the Clover needle. It does a little time to learn how to use the needle.

Great tool
I got a punch needle kit on clearance and decided to give it a try. I bought this stitching tool and after getting familiar with it I am using it. At first I did not see how the needle works until I realize I had to take it out of the safety holder :). It is so easy to use and fast!

Save your money
Tried this with a medium weight muslim. Was able to make stitches, but if you don't hold the loops in the back of the fabric, the stitches unravel. This tool does not work if you use a light weight thread, or fabric. Tried with heavy fabric and heavy, medium, and light thread and none of these worked. SAVE YOUR MONEY.....

I love this tool!
I had gotten one of these Embroidery Stitching Tool Needles from a craft grab bag. Because i don't do embroidery, i was reluctant to use it. However, I used a piece of white muslin, a pencil to trace a pattern, and some thread, and next thing you know, i have the nifty-est looking pillow. So quick and easy, no previous skills needed, and works on just about any frabic. When using on denim or other tough fabrics, i use a needle first to create small holes, and that keeps my Embroidery Stitching Tool Needle from breaking.
