  • 2 Army/Dog Tags
  • 12"x 12" StrongGrip Machine Mat
  • Masking Tape
  • 2 Ball Chains
  • Black Spray Paint

    NOTE: This project uses the Engraving Tip to engrave personalized Army tags.
    Finished Size: Image is 1.3"x 1.4"

    PREPARATION
    1. Spray paint the tags on both sides and set aside to dry fully.
    2. Select customize. Select your state from the image set that suits your needs. To edit text, double-click the text you want to change, then update as needed. To preserve the arrangement of text, use Attach.
    3. To change the states, search images for the state needed for your project. Arrange elements as desired and attach. Make sure your line type is set to engrave.
    4. Use the Mat Preview screen to move the tag shape to the mat with the engraved image. Then move the engraved image to the the correct positions within the shape. It is easiest to place the blank touching the top left sides of a square on the mat grid.
    5. TIP: If using the IOS App, you can alternately use the SnapMat feature to position the designs for your blanks.
    6. Hide the tag shape before moving on to the next step.
    7. Remove hardware from the blank and set aside.
    CUT
    1. Use masking tape to secure your tag blank to the StrongGrip mat, using the grid to align it to match your alignment on the mat preview.
    2. Use the Engraving Tool and correct cut setting, and follow the prompts to engrave the tag blank with your design.
    ASSEMBLE
    1. Attach hardware.
