Use the Ez Quilting Darlene Zimmerman Mini Octagon Jelly Roll Ruler to rotary cut or trace an octagon shape on a jelly roll. You can cut a 1.38-inch strip for the small squares. Join four octagons with a small square in the center. This will help form a unique shape for hand- or -machine-piecing your quilting projects.
