How To Get It

Use the Pellon EZ-steam II Two-sided Adhesive Fusible Tape to bond various fibers and materials without sewing. It comes with a pressure-sensitive adhesive on each side to temporarily hold materials in place while you reposition them to the desired final placement before fusing.     Rated 5 out of 5 by from EZ Steam II beats Steam a Seam by a mile! I've been sewing all my clothes and home dec items for over ten years. EZ Steam II in the Regular hold (not the Lite version) is the best two sided fusible tape you can buy. There is a bit of a learning curve, but once you get past that hump, you'll never go back to Steam A Seam. Here are my recommendations: 1. Always use your fingers and not scissors to tear the paper backing 2. Lay the tape down on one side of your fabric, and finger press it into place. Leave a small overhang of tape beyond the edge, and tear the tape with your fingers (NOT SCISSORS!). Do not remove the paper backing. 3. Take a warm iron (use the lowest heat setting) and lightly touch the iron against the paper tape for just a second along the entire length of the fabric. 4. Wait a minute or two to allow the tape to thoroughly cool. 5.. Starting at the hand torn edge of the tape, peel off the paper backing. 6. Fold the free side of the EZ Steam Tape against the fabric, and press it with your fingers. Then press it with your iron at an appropriate heat setting, 7. Always store the product in an airtight plastic bag to keep the tape fresh and sticky.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't stick once heat is applied! I bought these for a pants project that a lot of people will be seeing me wear. I thought this product would be great to hold some of my fabric together (i.e., pleats) but it was a major letdown. Even after ironing it, the tape never actually "melted" to close the two sides together. It's as sticky as it was before it was heated (which is to say not very). I'll never buy this stuff again. I had much better luck using Steam-a-Seam. I had a feeling this was some generic kind of knock off before I bought it. I should have trusted my first impression. Don't waste your money.

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what I expected or needed I bought this to use instead of using pins or basting in my baby quilt. Hard to get it to stick and harder to peel off paper backing , not at all as easy to use as I saw in a video. Will find other uses for it
