Fun to customize
Only downside is removing the wire before dyeing, otherwise super fun to customize. Made a Spinel doll for my daughter, and a Coraline for my niece.

Grandchildren project dolls!
I’m loving these muslin dolls. So far I’m made two girls and one boy with my grandchildren. Each child helps make the hair, face and clothes. They love their individualized dolls. This is not a project we would have started if I had to make the dolls from scratch! It’s also nice that 18” doll patterns work for them. I’ve made the patterns just slightly wider.

I was very stressed before Christmas n had my heart set on making my granddaughter a doll. I had purchased the fabric, a friend gave me a couple patterns. I cut one out n it looked weird so I cut another one out and just couldn't find the time to sew it. I went to Joanns to get some other things and as Megan was helping me was just so worked up about the doll she said she felt we would find a solution. I turned around n there she was the pre made doll. I was so excited to get home n start on her. I did have a friend help with the face but did everything else myself.

Project not finished but I love it so far!
I bought the doll a couple of months ago, just to have it because it was different from what I've used before. I started a gift/project and ordered a costume for an 18" doll and it fit perfect. I was also able to tea/coffee stain the muslin because it needed to be brown. It stained great
