Great Watercolor Pencils !!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these for my daughter last week . She is very interested in all types of painting , including watercolor . She was very happy with them , and says that they are great . The colors are good and blend well when worked with water and brush . They're nice in addition to the usual paint style colors .

Great Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The water color pencils were better than expected. The tine is great for keeping protecting the pencils and keeping them from getting mixed in with ordinary colored pencils. There is a nice variety of colors - everything you need plus a few unexpected shades that are lovely. The pencils work exactly as expected - just add water to give your sketches the look of a watercolor painting.

Amazing quality!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i got this product a few weeks ago and just got a chance to try it. These color pencils are the best i have ever used. i don't use color pencils much in my artwork as they are not very good at blending my colors into other colors. but these are really really good. specially after you use the water to blend them they blend flawlessly into each other. i was able to create lots of amazing artwork with these to gift friends and family.

Beautiful colours & a great quality product.

The best watercolour pencils!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great! They aren’t extremely soft and difficult to sharpen. They are very rich and pigmented. I swatches them dry, and wet, with the colours in the tin. Some are a little lighter than expected but you can always darken it by adding more colour! They are beautiful and work wonderful. Included is the pencils and a small booklet for beginners, explaining a few techniques to get you started!

Good watercolor pencils
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the most part these pencils are of high quality and I would recommend it to people to buy. The reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars was because you have to use your own brush and the limited colors it came with. Other than that these pencils are excellent and a I recommend it for anyone to buy.

Brilliant Colors
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was actually the best set of colors I seen in a very long time. They are made very well, the tips don’t breaking off as easy as other brands. Overall I would buy the bigger set because if this small set is this great a larger set would be super!

Fun to use!

Beautiful vibrant colors

Great quality

Nice set
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Albrecht Dürer® Artists' Watercolor Pencils are a nice little set. I usually have a problem with the leads breaking when sharpening but I have not had this issue with these. The colors blend very nicely too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially, I would like to apologize for the nostalgic reference: however, about 45 years ago, I remember buying a couple of Faber-Castell colored pencils. Still imprinted in my memory are their vibrant colors. So, after receiving the Faber-Castell Albert Durer watercolor pencils I was awed to see that the bright pigmentation quality had not degraded over the decades. In dry technique drawing, even with slight pressure, the light colors are intense and transparent while remarkably without any individual stroke visibility on paper, while the dark colors are vibrant and opaque. When combined with calligraphy Indian ink the pencil colors neither smeared nor blurred. In wet technique (brush drawing), following sandpapering the pencils' pigments granulated finely and the presentation was wonderfully smooth and soft on the paper.

Best water color pencils

Great product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If I could give it more than 5 I would. This small set of water color pencils are amazing. You can use it on canvas, ceramic, wood, walls, fabric. You are only limited by your imagination. From cartoon coloring on canvas to detailing on crafts projects these can replace acrylic paints. Just seal with spray acrylic sealer to preserve color.

The most amazing watercolor pencils I've ever used
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Albrecht Durer Artists watercolor pencils are the nicest that I have personally ever used and I'm truly amazed at the quality, The tin itself is sturdy and high- end feeling, and inside are 12 elegant, vivid, beautiful smelling (wood smell)watercolor pencils each with a perect name to match each color. Emerald green and Deep scarlet Red are my favorite of the twelve they just stand out so much, I love how you barely need any water to accomplish the magic that happens on paper, I am not a glorious artist or anything, more of a closet doodler, but I am really enjoying these watercolor pencils so much, I wish I had only had them faster, they are so much fun. I give them a 10/10

High qualty and good range of colors!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wanted to try Watercoloring, and this Faber-Castell starter set looked like a good way to go, so gave it a try. The 12 pencils come in sturdy tin case which opens using hinges on the left side...easy open / close. Upon opening, the pencils looked to be very high quality! The pencils are solid and easy to hold and use. All are per-sharpened and a great mix of colors ranging from light to dark. The set also comes with a small book of suggestions and tips on using the pencils. Overall happy with the pencils. Now I just need my artistic skills to get to the same level!

Loved this set!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These worked great. Vivid colors, they spread easily w/ water more so than with others that my wife has used in the past. We had our 6 year old use it and they're pretty soft to use so you'll need to remind them to be gently to not smash them down. Our son was pretty excited to use these for the 1st time and he did it on watercolor paper. Great way to control watercolor style vs a normal paintbrush. So...hope that helps! BTW - I've answered the questions below as it my wife was answering b/c she's (and my son) are the ones that used them!

Smooth writing

They were just as smooth as I remember them being when I was young. They blend beautifully, with or without water. Overall they appear to be a great product, even for like myself, or an experienced artist who is looking to add to their list of utensils. Very good product.

Professional water pencils

Beautiful colors
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these to experiment with and have found that I really like them. The colors are very vibrant and blend beautifully. There are lots of different ways to use them--you can draw with the pencils and then brush on water, or you can moisten the pencils and use them wet. I've been using them on watercolor paper and am happy with the results. I will continue to experiment with them.

Great product!

There are so many ways to use them, my favorite is using a paintbrush dipped in water and picking up color from the pencil tip. Great pigmentations, color bright, transition from pencil to a watercolor is very easy, and useful color grouping. Very happy to have them!

Really good quality.

The pencils are nicely pigmented, the tips hold very well so I didn't need to sharpen the pencil that often. Can't Wait To See My Daughter's Face

Vibrant colors

They have a nice sharp point that helps with those small lines and areas to color. The tin is really nice makes for easy storing and helps keep them free of damage. Can't wait to color some more.
