Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful artist companion [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these watercolor pencils! They glide nicely, perform beautifully and offer a nice variety of colors in an easy to store tin. I recently got back into sketching as a peaceful hobby and it's been super nice to have a set of pencils that I can easily use. They are water soluble which makes it very easy to blend to get that watercolor effect. The only thing that would make them better is if they are self sharpening, but I suspect making them in that way would take away other, more important qualities.

Watercolor pencils were new to me but my kids and I found them to be quite a bit of fun to use. As colored pencils they work great and are good quality. Add a little water and one can change an image from colored pencil to more of a watercolor appearance. Case appears well made and durable which is a plus when you have kids.
