Nice quality

Love the pencil points
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I dabble a bit when it comes to sketching and drawing. It is frustrating finding a pencil that is able to withstand the movements of an artists hands but these pencils were perfect for the job. They are very resilient and strong. The points work very well in helping to bring to life images with the colors in the set. The set does a great job in shading as well. I was impressed.

Great quality, really handy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With all that was/is going on, I got these for my spouse to get back into some of his old hobbies, like sketching. He really enjoyed these, we found his old sketchbook and he was right back at it. The shades are great to work with and he’s been teaching me how to blend and shade. These writing instruments are super sturdy and make very smooth strokes.

So smooth

High quality!

I enjoying using these pencils because they are so much better than the ones I have used in the past which were cheap and broke easily. These also show up much better on paper than the others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this set for my son who likes to sketch as a hobby. It is something he does to keep himself occupied, especially during these trying times. What I like about the set is that you have different options which are useful when sketching. Not only do you have the basic sketching pencil as I like to call it, but you also get different colors such as a brown, a tan, and a white. Not only do you get these colors which are great for sketching you also get an oil based pencil and a blending pencil. They seem to write smoothly, not too dark, yet not too light and don't leave the chunks I attribute to normal lead pencils, not do they smear. If you're looking for a set that is useful when sitting around and sketching for fun these are perfect! Especially for a beginner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is great for hobby sketchers, nice shades and comfortable to hold. The pencils are good and good pigmentation. Excellent kit, great solid pencils. Lead does not break easily. This set is great for starters and pros alike. The kit works really well for me, although I realize now that as a beginner I really don't need that many sketching utensils but this kit is perfect for me i love it..Fairly complete set this has everything I need now, I have no excuses for not sitting out under a tree with a view and start scratching out lines on a paper.

Perfect for shading features around faces

Wonderful basic set!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this set! I find myself pulling for these pieces before anything else after adding it to my collection. It’s basic, but has everything you need aside from your sketch pad to put out a fantastic rendering. I’ve even been using these to create my initial sketches underneath paintings on canvas, and they work great! A lot of times the initial sketch underneath takes a bit of work to conceal, but the paint beautifully covers this up, and any pigment in them doesn’t effect my outcome. I’d definitely buy these again once they’re spent!

Amazing sketch pencils
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Kids are pretty Artsy and I have purchased a lot of art supplies. I have discovered in the past few years that when it comes to art supplies the cheapest thing is not always the best thing. Colored Pencils are a favorite tool at our house and we use them a lot for school as well art projects. I have gotten them the cheap colored pencils that you see everywhere, and we have the hardest time when we sharpen them, the colored tips just keep breaking off, sometimes deeper into the pencil than just the tip and we have to keep sharpening them. That's fine if that does not bother you. It's like the colored part is too brittle or something. Thes Faber Castell Pencils are quality pencils. The colors are unique and vibrant and smooth. They sharpen well and are wonderful to draw with. The colors are so Beautiful. They come in more than one color set/box and are wonderfully packaged in a tin to keep them protected and organized. Definitely worth getting.

Great For Drawing, Grayscaling & Coloring
