SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Fat quarters (18" x 20")- 8 coordinating fabrics
- 1/2 yd - for bias strip for hanging pennants
- 2 yds - fusible interfacing
- Cutting mat, rotary cutter
- Basic sewing supplies
DIRECTIONS:
- Cut 26 pairs of triangles 6 1/2" x 8 1/2".
- Cut 26 triangles from interfacing.
- Sew interfacing to one of each triangles per set.
- With RST, sew triangles together leaving opening at top for turning.
- Turn and press.
- Cut 5 - 2 1/4" strips to make bias strip.
- Sew these strips together at short ends.
- Press strip in half lengthwise.
- Fold both edges into center and press.
- Find the center of the bias strip and pin one triangle in the fold of strip.
- Space the remaining triangles in place, alternating colors as you go.
- Starting at one end of the strip, sew close to edge of bias strip. Continue through the entire bunting to end.
- Cut the extra ends to desired length.
- Tie a knot at each end of strip.
