- Cotton Fabric
- Glass Plates
- Dishwasher-Safe Mod Podge
- Rubbing Alcohol
- Soft Bristle Brush
- Sharp Scissors
DIRECTIONS:
- Clean back of glass plate with Rubbing Alcohol, Grab a cup that you can rest your plate on as it dries.
- Cut the cotton fabric to a size slightly larger than the plate. Trim the excess later.
- With the soft bristle brush, apply a thin coat of Dishwasher-Safe Mod Podge over the entire surface of the back of the plate. Immediately place the fabric over top, and with your fingertips, press the fabric into the plate, starting at and focusing on the well of the plate. That little lip around the center where a gap in the fabric will occur unless you press it in right away - and then pressing in the center, and then pressing to the outer edge.
- Balance the plate on the cup, and apply a coat of Dishwasher-Safe Mod Podge to the back of the fabric. Allow to dry 1-2 hours. Trim the excess material off the plate, and apply another coat of Dishwasher-Safe Mod Podge to the back of the plate. Allow to dry 1-2 hours, and apply a third coat.
- Per the Dishwasher-Safe Mod Podge label, allow the plate to cure for 28 days before washing in a dishwasher.
