- Center the road piece onto the green fabric and sew along the edge.
- Cut a length of white embroidery thread and knot one end. Sew a running stitch down the center of the road.
- Cut out the parking garage pieces from felt. Place the longer piece on top of the shorter piece. Line up the little tick marks on each of the pieces. Sew down these lines. Sew along the back edge of the piece, folding the top pieces to make three pockets. Position the parking garage pieces onto the green fabric and sew in place. Cut a length of embroidery thread and embroider the word PARK in front of the garage.
- Cut out the lake from blue felt. Position it on the green fabric and sew it in place.
- Cut out the ducks from felt and hot glue them onto the lake piece

- Cut out any stop and yield signs and position them along the road as desired. Sew them in place.
- Cut out the tab pieces, and with right sides together, sew along three edges, leaving one short end open. Turn right side out and iron flat. Sew a small piece of Velcro to the end. Set aside.
- Place the finished road piece and the outer fabric together, with right sides facing. Sandwich the tab between the two pieces at the side of the dollhouse, and pin in place. Place the quilted batting on top of the two pieces and pin in place. Sew along the edge of the piece, leaving a hole for turning.
- Turn the piece right side out, and iron the edges flat.
- Hand stitch the hole closed.
