How To Get It

Marking patterns will be a breeze with the General Pencil Fabric Pencil Survival Kit. These are ideal for beginners, but experienced sewers will benefit from this kit as well. This pack includes a light gray pastel chalk pencil, a charcoal white pencil, an iron-on transfer pencil, a sketch and wash pencil, a pencil sharpener, an ES-20 extra-soft eraser and a Kiss-Off Stain Remover. The pencils are acid-free, oil-free, and are made from sustained yield California incense cedarwood. You can use them for drawing directly on or for transferring designs to a variety of fabrics. Heat from an iron is required for the pencils to leave an impression.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from A No Show on Fabric/broken points I bought a two white pencil set with the sharpener in this brand. It barely shows up on any fabric using the lightest touch or more pressure. It seems like I got old ones that are brittle. Keeping the pencil well sharpened makes it worse because the chalk easily breaks in the sharpener or the point is too sharp for the fabric. Either way, check these out of the package and take them back right away if they are not working well because they won’t get better.
