  1. Upload the svg files into your Design Space.
  2. Cut out the designs in the black iron-on vinyl.
  3. Lay each canvas facedown on the linen fabric on a working surface.
  4. Cut out fabric for each canvas with a 2" border, bigger than the canvas.
  5. Using your staple gun, stretch the fabric onto the canvas. You do this by starting in the middle of the canvas, on the back on each side. Pull the fabric over the backside and staple in the middle, on the back of the frame. Turn the canvas and fabric 180 degrees, pull the fabric tight and staple again in the middle of the frame. Do the same on each side. Continue to turn the frame and staple, working from the middle outward. Do this until you have reached the corners. When you get to the corners, overlap the fabric to make flat corners and then staple in place.
  6. Using your scissors, trim off the excess fabric.
  7. Flip the canvas over and place the cut-out vinyl design on the front.
  8. With your iron transfer the design by placing the parchment on top and with your iron on the highest setting. Go over the design for a solid minute. Let it cool slightly and then remove the vinyl from the design. If it doesn’t remove easily, use the iron again.

JOANN HACKS:
  • Make sure the design is centered before ironing it in place.
