Teaching kids how to label emotions, identify them in the moment & cope with them are important tools to teach them from a very young age. This project helps give adults a tool to start those conversations.

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Construction paper (Various colors)
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Markers
- Face template
DIRECTIONS:
- Use the face template to cut out a face from your desired paper color.
- Glue the face to a piece of construction paper so the neck is at the bottom and you leave room to add hair.
- Use the construction paper to cut strips or other shapes out to add as hair. Add them to the face by gluing the end down around the perimeter of the face.
- Use a marker to add your facial expression of choice.

- Tips for different hair styles:
- Cut strips and use a pencil to roll paper strips around and make curly hair.
- Fold strips back and forth to make a crimped hair affect.
- Cut out various size circles and cut a swirl pattern into them to add dimension.
