  • Caron Jumbo Ombre (12 oz/340 g; 595 yds/544 m)
  • Contrast A Blossom - 3 balls or 1401 yds/1280 m
  • Contrast B Seashell - 2 balls or 1190 yds/1088 m
  • Size U.S. 9 (5.5 mm) circular knitting needle 36" [91.5 cm] long or size needed to obtain gauge
  • Yarn needle

  • GAUGE: 16.5 sts and 24 rows = 4" [10 cm] in Ripple Pat.

  • MEASUREMENTS: Approx 49"x 60" [124.5 x 152.5 cm], excluding fringe.

NOTES:
Blanket is worked from side to side.
Take care to close gap between ssk and K2tog by pulling snugly on each stitch as it's made.
Carry color not in use loosely up side of work unless other-wise stated
Color changes happen on WS of to create color dashes on RS
Ripple Pat worked over st multiple of 15 sts +6.

These 295 rows complete Stripe Pat.

BLANKET
With A, cast on 246 sts (multiple of 15 sts + 6). Do not join. (See chart).
Working back and forth across needle in rows, proceed as follows:
1st to 5th rows: Knit, noting first row is WS.
6th row: (RS). K3. *K2tog. K4. (Kfb) twice. K5. ssk. Rep from * to last 3 sts. K3.
7th row: (WS). K3. Purl to last 3 sts. K3.
8th row: As 6th row.
9th row: As 7th row.
10th row: As 6th row.
Last 10 rows form Ripple Pat. First 10 rows of Stripe Pat are complete.

Cont in Ripple Pat as established until 295 rows of Stripe Pat are complete (ending on a 5th row of Ripple Pat). Cast off.
FRINGE: Cut strands of A and B 12" [30.5 cm] long. Taking 4 strands tog (2 each of A and B), fold in half and knot into fringe through last st of every 4th row across top and bottom edges of Blanket. Trim fringe evenly.
