Fall Into Football Season Crimson and Gold Cupcakes

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Your favorite cupcake recipe or mix (4 to 4-1/2 cups needed)
  • Large Creamy White Decorator Icing (6 cups needed)
  • Color Right Color Performance System
  • 12 Cup Muffin Pan
  • 14-1/2" x 20" Cooling Grid
  • Color Swirl 3-Color Coupler
  • Open Star Tip 1M
  • 16" Disposable Decorating Bags
  • Wilton Primary Standard Baking Cups (red and yellow used)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Bake cupcakes in red and yellow liners according to the recipe directions. Allow to cool.
  2. Set aside 2 cups of white icing, and tint the remaining white icing according to the following formula:
  3. Bright & Bold Yellow: 2 cups white icing + 2 O + 10 Y
  4. Autumn Red: 2 cups white icing + 40 C
  5. Prepare bags with 3-Color Coupler and tip 1M. Fill separate bags with each color of icing; pipe swirl on top of cupcakes.
