Fall Paper Flowers for Ceramic Pots

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Ceramic pots
  • Panacea stone granules
  • Assorted cardstock
  • Scissors and/or cutting blade
  • Hot glue
  • Floral wire
  • Floral tape
  • Wire cutters
  • Floral foam
  • Glue
  • Paper piercer

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Cut out leaves/petals with assorted cardstock, using templates.
  2. Cut floral foam down to fit snugly into the floral pots selected.
  3. Using glue, spread a thin layer over floral foam and add stone granules.
  4. (Allow to dry completely before adding floral stems)
  5. Cut floral wire to desired lengths for each leaf/petal.
  6. Secure floral wire with hot glue or adhesive to each leaf/petal.
  7. Use floral tape to cover stems.
  8. Combine stems together using floral tape to create vines and stems.
  9. Arrange floral stems into pots using hot glue.

JOANN HACKS:

  • Add a large dab of hot glue to the bottom of the floral foam to secure inside pot. You can use tissue paper, crepe paper, or cardstock to hide wires. You can use the paper piercer to make a hole through the granules when placing the floral stems.
