SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 5 Assorted size ceramic pumpkins
  • 4 Foam bricks
  • Hot glue gun and sticks
  • 5 Succulent picks
  • 6 Mini aloe picks
  • 2 BI Echeveria Lola picks
  • 1 Bag Spanish Moss Basil

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Cut foam to size to fit inside the pumpkin. Add hot glue to the bottom of foam piece to attach the foam to the container. Once placed inside the pumpkin, let the glue dry to assure a tight bond between the foam and ceramic.
  2. Sort out which succulent picks and which aloe picks would work in each pumpkin. Insert the succulents and aloe into the pumpkins in desired designs.
  3. Once the succulents and aloe are arranged, add small amounts of the Spanish moss to fill in any dead space. Use the hot glue to attach the moss to the foam.

JOANN Hacks:

  • Separate the moss so it is not in a large clump so that it can flow down the sides of the pumpkin.
