Fancy White Ruffle Tulle Dress

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Burda® 9305
• Use the same yardage on Burda® 9305 for View A
• Satin lining use the yardage for View A
• Sewing machine
• Sewing notions

DIRECTIONS:

SLEEVE

1. Shorten length to 5 1/2". Cutting the ruffles, cut close to the edge before the top edge. Also leave more of the tulle underneath when cutting ruffle. Gather enough ruffle (3 times gathered) to fit the width of both sleeves. With sleeve flat before sewing into bodice, sew gathered ruffle on top of bottom ruffle of sleeve.
2. Cut enough ruffles (3 times gathered) to fit the bottom of the skirt, follow the same gather and placement as for the sleeve.
COLLAR

3. Cut collar out of satin lining. Complete pattern as directed.

Craft Hack Tips and Tricks:

• Netting fabric does not need to be hemmed as it doesn’t unravel and has a cleaner finish.
• Use a gathering foot attachment if possible for ruffles.
• Gather the ruffles with the same color thread as the ruffle, it becomes invisible and nestles into the netting.
