SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Terracotta pot
- White felt
- Sewing needle
- White thread
- Light tan and dark tan paint
- Paintbrushes
- Stuffing
DIRECTIONS:
- Paint the terracotta pot light tan. Use dark tan paint to add detail lines for the ice cream cone on the bottom half.
- Use scissors to cut a white felt circle about 10-12" wide.
- Use a running stitch with needle & thread to stitch along the outside edge of the circle.
- Pull the thread tight around the circle to cinch the edges. Fill with stuffing and pull the thread as tight as possible then tie a knot to close the edges.
- Use hot glue to glue the ice cream scoop on the top of the terracotta pot cone.
- Cut a long piece of rectangular felt about 18-20" long and 1/2" wide. Stitch a running stitch down the center of the rectangle.
- Pull the stitch tight to gather the felt and make a ruffle. Hot glue the ruffle around the bottom edge of the ice cream scoop where it meets the cone.
