DIRECTIONS:

  1. To print the patterns, click on the "Download Project PDF" button (above).
  2. If you don't want to use the templates, draw out a triangle on the felt as a pennant base. The large should be 18"x 9", medium is 12"x 6", and the small is 6"x 3". Cut shape out.
  3. Pick a contrasting felt color and cut it to the length of the wide part of the triangle, around 1/2" to an inch wide depending on the size of the pennant. Glue to triangle.
  4. Cut small strips of the contrasting felt for the tail accents. Cut them 2"-4" long, around a quarter inch wide. Overlap two strips to create a V shape and glue together. Once dry, glue to back side of pennant.
  5. Print out the icon sheet to trace icons on contrasting felt, or draw out your own. Trace, cut and glue to pennant.
