Using the pattern templates, cut out the pieces for 2 large flowers and one small flower.
Embroider the flower petals with the gold thread as shown in the project image. This includes running stitches and back stitches along the center of each petal.
Fold the individual flower petals at the base of each petal, and use a couple of stitches to make sure they keep their shape. Stitch the petals to the flower base.
For the yellow center of the flower, cut the pattern piece. Fold the piece in half lengthwise, and stitch along the cut ends to secure. Cut fringe slices into the folded edge. Roll the piece from one end to the other and stitch secure. Stitch the middle piece to the middle of the flower.
Cut the green leaves using the wider leaf pattern. Use a water soluble marker to make a leaf design on the leave. Stitch over this design.
Cut the dark green leaves using the thinner leaf pattern. Stitch a line down the center of each of these leaves.
Wire together the two floral hoops with the floral wire.
Arrange the leaves and flowers on to the floral hoops, and hot glue them in place.
