DIRECTIONS:

Go to this project FISH COSTUME (available on Cricut Design Space)
The completed fish is approximately 22"x 15" (55.9 cm x 38.1 cm)
    PREPARATION
  1. Apply fusible fabric adhesive to each of the felt layers (except the gray) before cutting.
  2. If you want to alter the project, click "Customize," then use the tools in the Edit panel to make changes before you cut.

  3. CUT
  4. Place the felt onto the mat with the paper backing removed and the fusible adhesive facing up.
  5. Follow the prompts in Design Space® to cut the images from the felt.

  6. ASSEMBLE
  7. Place the light blue body of the fish over the gray base layers and fuse them together. This will hold the base pieces together while you assemble the other layers on top.
  8. Fuse the red fin pieces onto the fish.
  9. Fuse the teal fin and face pieces onto the fish.
  10. Fuse the yellow accent pieces onto the fish.
  11. Topstitch to reinforce the fish layers, provide durability and to add visual interest.
  12. Measure your child and cut ribbon straps to a good hanging length for them, then use glue, buttons, or hook & loop tape to attach the straps to the back side of the two fish so they hang across the child's chest and back.
