Great for small projects
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do some crafting projects using fabrics that I cut with different edges. Normally I use a cutting mat & cutting wheel but sometimes I need just one or two pieces & I don't want to pull out all my supplies just for a small piece or two. The Fiskars Premier 8" Pinking Shears is a great option for me! It really does have a nice, crisp, precise cut. The shears itself is a little hard to open & close - not as smooth as a regular scissors but I'm guessing it will loosen up after it gets used a bit more. Other than that, I really like this scissors & it will be added to my growing collection of crafting supplies!

Nice scissor

I use them for cooking and they cut through the vegetables. Nice and easy or pasta or whatever when I’m trying to make things smaller for my kids I would definitely recommend the scissors they’re easy to use, and they’re just a good pair of scissors

Extremely Nice Pinking Shears

The Fiskars Pinking Shears are really nice! These pinking shears are made well and they work great. These prinking shears feel extremely heavy duty. They are quite large and heavy. The blades are very thick but also very sharp, they look and feel high-quality. They do take a bit more effort to use compared to regular scissors but they cut through fabric so easily that they are so worth it. The handle fits really well in my hand and they have smooth hard plastic for the grip. I have no issues using these for long periods of time. These pinking shears cut very nice zig zags in fabric to help prevent fraying and they do a really good job at that. I am super happy with how well these create a zigzag pattern on the fabric and they easily cut though a wide variety of fabric types and thicknesses.
All in all, these are really nice pinking shears! They are made well, high-quality, sharp, easy to use, and they work really well! I would absolutely recommend them!

Really Sharp, very nice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are high quality scissors. Very impressive. The blades are sharp and cut clean. One thing to note is that they are large scissors. Some materials leave a ragged edge if you don't use pinking shears, but with these, the edges came out crisp and with no fraying. Very nice.

Amazing cut!

No Frays!

Nice Shears

The only reason I did not give the highest rating is because I have small hands and they feel uncomfortable and awkward for me to use. I would recommend these be loosened up a little before use

Cutting Edge Scissors

The particular shears have a zig zag cut which prevents cloth from fraying. I was able to easily cut through denim; using a pair of lesser scissors would have been drudgery and led to my frustration. These scissors are a cut above.

My fingers fit nicely in the handle, it’s very comfortable and ergonomic. I like pinking shears because they reduce fabric from fraying. They cut through fabric really nicely.

Great Pinking Shears

I like that they are a little tight which I know will loosen in time with use. but I feel like, I'm in control by the size they are. They cut all the way to the end of the fabric. I have to hem allot of my pants and these are sharp and give an even cut. I'm in love with them and these shears are the best.

So stiff!!!
I saw in the reviews that these were stiff but I needed a pair so I got it anyway. It WORKS for what it's supposed to do but it is very VERY stiff and hurts your hand after awhile. If you can buy a different pair of pinking shears I would recommend that.

Very Stiff After 1 Project
I bought these for Bridgerton gown project and they worked well while I was making my muslin toile/mock up however once I got to the multilayer portion of my final gown and overlay, I noticed that these have become very stiff and difficult to open and close. I rubbed my knuckle raw trying to get these to cut through 6 thin layers. I'm not sure if it's a quality issue or if these just aren't meant to handle trimming off seam allowances that contain more than a couple layers. I'm a bit disappointed. I'm using them now for a completely different project that only has two layers (a crepe back satin and a lightweight brocade) and they are still struggling. Will see if Fiskars has any recommendations or will back their lifetime warranty.

Great grip, easy cutting
It has a nice grip and cuts very easily, very sharp. My only gripe is always trying to keep an eye out for more left handed options. I think it is only fair.

Teeth hit
I cut flannel to sent abroad for diapers. I have these sheers in orange and they are so stiff the teeth hit hard on the other side. There is no way to loosen them. My husband works with metal and feels they are hopeless. Now my friend has these same shears an hers work like a dream. So I think the quality just is not there. I'm not sure what to buy to continue with this charity group.
