Capable of sawing through wood, cardboard, Styrofoam, EVA foam dowels and more, the Fiskars Precision Hand Saw features a thin, yet powerful, triple-ground blade that enables it to glide through materials for controlled, precise cuts. Compact and portable, this tool strikes the perfect balance between size, power and precision, making it ideal for bigger, more complex DIY projects. It also features a hilt in the handle for added safety, as well as Softgrip touchpoints for enhanced comfort and control. A secured, protective sheath features both English and metric measurements, while a hang hole offers a convenient storage option. Even better, the blades are easily replaceable (item 132210).

Sharp and accurate
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great inexpensive pull saw. The materials are high quality. It comes with a full sheath that covers the whole blade which is great for taking camping. It also comes with a small blade cover that is great for workshop applications. So it has some versatility. The larger sheath has measurements integrated in in which is perfect if you don’t have a tape measure handy and need a precise cuts which is perfect for most outdoor activities. The blade is replaceable. I can’t imagine sharpening each tooth, so that is a handy feature. I did a test cut on some milled pine and got very accurate results. One thing to note is the curved handle. I mainly use Japanese pull saws in the shop that have a straight handle, so that took a little getting used to. But that is not a deterent in any way. I plan on using this saw for cutting smaller stock to size prior to my finish cut when I don’t want to use a power saw. It cuts fast with little effort and is precise enough for my needs. I’m very happy to add this to my collection.

Good Result!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently my daughter asked me that she wants a small wood house and she wants me to build one for her. Thanks alot #influenster and #FISKARS for helping me. It is definitely easy to use, easy on the hands and pretty sharp and the teeth are tough. I like the Fiskars brand and also like that it comes with the blade cover and you can you can change the blade, as with most Fiskars products, which was a big selling point for me because I know their products are usually very easy to change out blades. Ergonomic handle is very comfortable to use. The cover helps to protect in case you have kids. All in all it immediately earned a place among my collection of lathe tools and I am confident I will find lots of other uses around the house.I'd definitely recommend it for small projects, but I'd also suggest using a small miter box as well, because for smaller projects it's hard to control both the blade AND the wood your cutting..

Not worth the buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These work great for a small project. The teeth are very small on the saw, so it's not going to cut anything big. They do cut very well. The protective sheath that comes with it is easy to remove and has measurements that go up to 7 inches.

Handy hand saw

I was a little scared with this; never thought I would buy a tool that was "outside" my idea of a crafter's tool. But I was wrong! So well'designed. So easy to use. So well-protected from kids (well, still exercise caution!). And 50% off. What else do you need? Sawed right through the wood dowels and used my crafting table for balance. Thank you Fiskars for helping me broadening my idea of a crafting tool!!!
